Coronavirus (COVID-19) - Update
Update from Taste of Old Country :
Dear Taste of Old Country Family, Friends & Patrons,
We wanted to let you know that we are OPEN FOR BUSINESS! We wanted to share a few updates and things we are trying to do to ensure as a small business we can best navigate through these unique circumstances, while ensuring we have an opportunity to continue earning your business and patronage. Effective March 16th, 2020 and until further notice, Taste of Old Country is offering the following:
FOOD SERVICE ORDERS:
Our eatery portion is open and we will be offering delivery service through GrubHub, (click link/image below to order online) and carryout via phone by calling 571-359-8297 for order pick up. We will not be accepting dine in orders/reservations, until further notice to ensure public safety and also to give our clients peace of mind that everything being prepared food wise is being done in a controlled, healthy and safe environment.
RETAIL WALK-IN GOURMET FOOD PRODUCT SHOPPING:
Clients are welcome to stop by to purchase and stock up on all of their EVOO/Balsamic Vinegar and Artisan Food Product needs for the home during normal business hours. We have a variety of pasta, cured meats, spreads, dips, savory pastries that can easily be baked, along with wines, beer and coffee.
You can also order a majority of our gourmet retail food products straight off our website.
We are also working with GrubHub to have all of our retail products listed on their platform as well for home/work delivery and hope to have this up and running within the next 24-48hrs.
All retail walk-in gourmet food product shoppers will receive 10% off their in-store purchases.
For all of our online patrons outside of the DC/Metro area, effective immediately and until further notice we are offering FREE SHIPPING ON ALL ORDERS - USE PROMO CODE: CORONA SUCKS and applied at time of checkout.
I personally hope that everyone stays safe, calm and collect through this unique, trying and challenging circumstance. Like other scares of the past, we need to stay united, strong, supportive, positive and need to understand that this will pass!
Thank you to all who have recently visited us. Your patronage, kind words and support means the world! I will be here on Monday to kick off another week of business, as usual and hope to have your support and patronage.
